We love our community.  For fellow community members who seek health services, we are the answer.  Emmason Pediatric & Family Clinic is a contributing member to the better health of clients.

In fulfilling our role, we provide services which include immunizations, routine sports and physical exams, and management of most illnesses.

We partner with specialists to provide the best care to our patients.  We arrange for direct hospital admission should such a need arise.

Although we welcome walk-ins, routine appointments are preferred so we can better prepare for our patients before they arrive.

In addition to the services mentioned above, we also offer:

• Preventive Care
• Monitoring health conditions - Acute and Chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, thyroid issues, arthritis, weight management, diabetes, and so on.
• Immunizations (school, employment and routine for adults and pediatrics)
• Physical Exams (routine, school, athletics, summer camps, employment)
• EKG's
• On site Lab Work - This means you will not have to be "sent out" for lab work at another Lab Center or clinic. We take care of your needs here.
• TVFC Provider (Texas Vaccines for Children) – We are here for your summer camp, school, college, and routine physicals to include immunizations.  We are a provider of the Texas Vaccines for Children Program (TVFC).  Please don't forget your children’s immunizations.  They save lives!

Emmason Pediatric & Family Clinic is not a “Pain Clinic”.  However, we offer true medical pain related care and alternatives other than just narcotics.

Complete Physical Examinations

Emmason Pediatric and Family Clinic offers complete physical examination.  These include testing the urine in urinalysis, blood testing for diabetes, cholesterol, kidney and liver functions, and thyroid function (if indicated) test.

Complete physical also includes prostate screening and PSA testing in men, breast exam and PAP test in women.  If indicated, we check EKG, X-Rays, and other diagnostics such as MRI or CT scans.  Cancer markers are ordered as needed and we do refer to other specialists when necessary.  Our clinicians also conduct a thorough objective head to toe physical assessment as part of a complete physical.

  • Low vitamin deficiency such as vitamin D
• Abdominal and intestinal problems, including acid reflux disease and heart burn

  • Infant care including immunizations
  • Developmental screening
  • School, sport, and camp physicals
  • Adolescent medicine
  • Hearing and vision screenings
  • Asthma management

Women's Health Services

• Well-women exams including Pap smears
• Testing and management of osteoporosis
• Sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
• Referral for mammograms and bone density testing

Men's Health Services

• Prostate cancer screening (PSA)
• Testicular cancer screening
• Erectile dysfunction evaluation and management

Other Services

• Smoking cessation
• Flu shots/ H1N1 Shots
• Tuberculosis (TB) skin tests
• Weight loss management
• Management of depression and anxiety
• Management of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Minor Procedures

• Repair of minor lacerations
• Drainage of abscesses
• Removal of skin lesions including skin tags, warts, moles, and cysts
